A PRE-AMBLE AS TO WHY THIS SITE IS HERE

Welcome to the webspace established 2004.
This webspace is the testing ground, notepad, repository, contact point and all general
untidy work area of yours truly, Stuart Morris.
This website is hand written by me and designed to be ultra lightweight. All code, images, a database and a clunky cms currently weighs in at just 6Mb (5744Kb) compressed, including an mp3.
I hope that by keeping much of my work online, I may be of use to someone who wants to learn some of the skills I have gained over the years since I took apart that open reel tape recorder when I was 6, and first felt the thrill of mains electricity. I am now slightly older, and my job usually consists of electronic and computing design. I have been in and out of further education for many years, gaining qualifications in a combination of electronics, computing and business as I go. I am currently studying technologies such as video capture, encoding, streaming, wireless networking, large-scale projection techniques and DVD authoring, and combining it with industrial grade pcs, running embedded scaled operating systems booting from cd, dvd, cf, usb and nfs - sometimes in a virtual environment.
...... I'm also quite handy in the kitchen and can make a real vodka martini.

Please note that my Stunix Dotnet Facebook account has been closed as of July 2015 as I had not been using the name on my passport.
I have opened a new account by the name of Stunix Dotuk and I expect, in time they will shut that too.
I have lost faith and trust in Facebook and their profiling antics, but it is addictive and somewhat of a necessity in my line of work. Thank goodness I have "stunix" on 9 TLDs.

MP3 SERVER

The MP3 Server is back up and running, I've had to lock it down quite a bit, its now as secure as I can possibly make it (almost), including passwords, php sessions, and lastly a hosting solution which lets me change the IP address and / or ports of the server itself.(I'm also experimenting with more bespoke ways of doing a "capcha".) If it does get hacked again, I can just move it. If you have a password you will simply be redirected to wherever it is at that time. Just bookmark :
